The Puerto Vallarta Navy League AC is a non-profit service organization open to anyone interested in supporting the Sea Services of the United States, Mexico, and other friendly nations, as well as assisting the people of Puerto Vallarta. We accept members of all nationalities – Mexico, U.S., Canada and elsewhere.
No prior military service is required.
We’re a dynamic group of about 85 full and part-time residents, male and female, of all ages and nationalities who simply enjoy welcoming and assisting visiting mariners, organizing and overseeing community service projects in local schools, orphanages and other non-profit facilities, and running our hugely successful Toys for Tots program.
Membership – WHY?
- Memberships allows us to solicit support from local merchants. They identify us as a not-for-profit organization supported by volunteers. Puerto Vallarta Navy League is a fully registered charity in Mexico and the US.
- Supporting restaurants and merchants provide discounts to members and visiting military personnel.
- Memberships helps cover our operating costs, allowing funds raised from our events and programs to be used for our Community Service events such as erecting and maintaining playgrounds in needy areas, joint Community Relations projects with visiting mariners and other Puerto Vallarta service organizations such as painting, light plumbing and electrical work, or landscaping , Toys for Tots, our annual Christmas project, and Club de Clubs, which coordinates with local customs and other government agencies for the import of donations from the US local Puerto Vallarta organizations.
Basic Membership dues for the Puerto Vallarta Navy League AC are $500 pesos or $30USD per year. Anyone wishing to provide additional help can join at a higher level. Ask how you can help. Annual dues are payable in cash, check, or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Pesos are preferred, but we can accept US dollars. All memberships are calendar year.
FOR NOW – It’s best to simply attend our next monthly meeting, the 1st Tuesday of every month at 11 am at the Marriott Hotel in the Marina. For further you can e-mail us at email@example.com. Regular meetings are suspended in the months of June thru August.
Your contribution will help create smiles on a child’s face, assist the Mariners in their Community Relations projects, and put much needed medical and educational supplies in the hands of those who desperately need them.
